WadSmoosh - merge all official id releases into one PK3 IWAD

Any utility that assists in the creation of mods, assets, etc, go here. For example: Ultimate Doom Builder, Slade, WadSmoosh, Oblige, etc.

It specifically extracts all the contents of each WAD file and arranges them all in PK3 format, renaming data lumps that have the same name and weeding out the duplicates, then stitches in episode definitions for all of them.

would of been cool if this was made kinda like the PSX Doom. that way you can take everything you have from the previous episode into the next game

Are you running using the python script (not the .exe)?

Are any of the WAD files tagged Read-Only? I forget if that's been fixed, but I recall having problems making it work if any of the WADs are write-protected.

No, I have one TEETH.WAD with a MAP31 and a THEETH2.WAD with a MAP32.

Ah that's the problem right there. WadSmoosh is expecting a single TEETH.WAD with a MAP31 and a MAP32 in it. Did you modify yours? I've only owned Master Levels via Steam so I'm not sure what other versions there might be.

It was probably modified manually for the Master Level Menu Interface long ago.
