I also use these settings in GZDoom.

I was about to enter but it looked a bit complicated. Besides there's the limited internet connection... i'm a poor guy. May be i'll join who knows.
Do you mean it's an instant crash or happens after a while? Could you post another crash report?

It can be an instant failure without a log, or maybe after a while

Strange. I doubt compiler settings make that much of a difference, it's still a RelWithDebInfo build.
Unless those are Debug builds but i don't think so.
Edit: i get pretty much the same performance here.

By default RelWithDebInfo does not aggressively inline. For GZDoom I changed it to be the same as Release but I think your code base is too old for that.
But if this makes a noticable difference something strange is going on.

By the way, I checked the new LZDoom build but this time in OpenGL mode. Surprisingly, I get in PB from 150 to 250 fps.

In emulators Direct3D is good in LZDoom / GZDoom-OpenGL

Performance should be pretty much the same, differences likely are due to something running in the background such the web browser.
BTW which emulators?

SNES9X works much worse in OpenGL mode than Direct3D

I didn't understand, that has nothing to do. I thought you were talking about a PC emulator or a D3D emulator or something else.
The D3D backend is for software rendering, hardware will always be faster with the exception of ancient crappy cards.
But what matters to me is the minimum frame rate with mods and lots of actors.

I'm still playing your last test build. Everything's fine. By the way, how do you improve the optimization in LZDoom?
