There are no recent vintage devbuilds. The test builds are... test builds. But for the legacy ports they are way more conservative since it's an older codebase, something may break of course. PB is very buggy, i think it's still based on the infamous BD v20 becouse Sarge Marko? accused them of stealing his "code".
May be it hangs when you find an infinite loop, i play with BD v21 now (as unbalanced as it is) and for me it LZDoom doesn't crash. Or is it a VM abort?
The latest GZDoom has the new JIT recompiler, in theory stability should be the same.
But if it crashes post a report now, most likely i'll do the release later today. So if someone has something to say... BTW the compatibility additions are in.
One more thing: if xZDoom hangs due to any of those infinite loops it will start leaking memory fast so you need to kill it before your system freezes.
