When the effect of the Tome of Power ends in Heretic the current weapon gets deselected and then selected again. Expected behavior is that the effect just ends, without doing anything to the currently selected weapon.
Happens in g3.8pre-598-g43ec2cf8f and 3.7.2. Works as expected in 3.6.0. Didn't try any versions besides that.

That was deliberate because the original hard switch tended to crash occasionally when inside the weapon firing frames. I saw no other choice but to circumvent the problem by making the weapon switch regularly.
