Seeing the video and screenshots it looks like a classic Doom wad.
So why does it weight over 1GB?
Is it just something I don't understand about how gamejolt works, or is it actually that big?
I mean, it weights about the same as Total Chaos, even though it looks like a normal Doom wad.

It's a partial conversion, as mentioned on the gamejolt page, it has new maps, guns, powerups, and monsters. sounds and all the new sprites weigh the mod down a bit.

Especially when your soundtrack is made up of WAV files.
That first one is a 20 minute long audio track weighing in at 207MB (roughly 1/5 of a GB) on its own.
Saving it as an ogg with no particular additional optimisation reduced the file size to 19.4 MB and GZDoom can play that just fine. But does it really need to be a 20 minute long track in the first place?

well, the track aren't midi at all, and our musician insisted on looping the tracks himself, so we have a 10-minute long track, and then It repeats itself, his reasoning for this is that game looping sucks. For why do we need 10-minute songs in the first place? Our musician just went wild and they are also a godsend to listen to. we will try to convert the songs into Ogg or Mp3. Thanks for your opinion and help us improve ENTRY!

Ogg is likely to loop better than mp3.
