Hello all, first off I am brand new to this forum so I do apologise if I have posted this in the wrong place.
I recently started playing with DoomBuilder, making some basic levels etc, in an attempt to learn more about games development. I decided it would be fun to set myself a goal and make a proper project, which led me to the idea of PokeDoom (basically just some pokemon textures and sprites for Doom Guy to shoot up). I have a basic understanding of a few coding languages having studied CompSci at Uni a few years back, but I don't know where to start with making any more than making a single doom level with Doom textures.
My main questions for now are:
1) I have made some textures for the inside of a pokecenter, how do i bring these into my level
2) how does one go about creating a menu screen and multiple levels strung together
any reference on this would be amazing
