the levels are very good. the resources are scarce enough to make each pick up a reward, and easy enough to make the game fun (i even think they are design for only keyboard play?). I think i will start again with hard difficulty, no running and pistol start... hmmm maybe even very hard because im using mouse?

maps have this old-school vibe, not decorated to the ceiling and without novelty mechanism (in E1m5 you need to shoot the wall - only i think). Location are very nice, all the bridges and map features nice. Theme could be preserved better, f.ex. cathedral doesnt look like sacred building... however all the bridges, chasm, water features make more than enough for it.

levels have this fake lighting , like 1st heretic map, which is superb IMO.

i think there is no graphic for Sabreclaw? I already fight ophidians and weredragons equivalents. also this black demon (undead knigh) projectile sound like a thrown axe.

i playe episod 3, and i agree there is a little too many weapons and ammo given at the start. Episod 1 is better.

I have great fun rediscovering Heretic again with this mod, like i have to guess what each artifacts do - i feel like in primary school again (just now im using the items :D). I love the maps.

I know, but I like NightFright's Widescreen Hud mod. In many ways, it has become an essential addon for me. :wub:

Hmmm, it seems like there is one enemy (a Flying Imp) in E1M4 that is stuck outside of map boundaries and as such cannot be killed.

graphic wise, greenfire stoneface - gargoyle-eplacements proejctile, is very hardly visible. I was playing on very hard and the speed of projecitles make it almost a hit scanners.

Yeah, and also, I have noticed that they spill red blood, which look out of place on these green Lost Soul-like enemies.

morph ovum replacement - a blue square. when pick up is label "noname".

im playing Hard+no running+pistol start - great fun. Heretic reskin with new levels, feels almost like a new game.
