Wrong thread? This is not 1. not released yet and 2. not going to be standalone, and 3. I don't see why Mac users couldn't use standalone games.

Finished the first new weapon, the Skull of Blight. Basically a remake of the old Demon Eclipse Ep2 Skull, but fires homing poison balls, or douses the ground in pools of acid.



Made from this 3D model/sculpt:



Created a new palette for Ep2. I'll be mixing this and the original palette for all the graphic assets to give them the 8-bit look despite being PNGs.

I like how the Skull is controlled with those little holes in the back, reminds me of the Guardian Head from Shadow Warrior!

Sorry if this has been asked before, does Version 2.00 come bundled with the first episode as well, or is it separate download? If the latter it could be called Part 2 instead, or just 2.

It will be a separate wad file until its final release, in which case I will pack them both into a single file for Episode 3's creation (if I ever get there :P). Keeps updates smaller more manageable. The 1.10 wad file already has a ton of assets that makes fixing problems a pain. Don't wanna add more stuff until I'm sure its finalized.

Primary fires high-speed splintering projectile from alternating barrels, dealing 20 damage on the primary projectile, and 3 each on the six secondary ones. Alt-fire is like the Basilisk's, but shoots flames in a 120 degree arc.

I will hold off on the Super-secret weapon for now. Got it sketched and planned out. But I need to start getting the monsters ready. Will be sculpting all of the monsters start tomorrow up to however long that takes, than spriting begins.

MONSTER MARATHON STARTS NOW! :mrgreen:

Working on concept art for all the new monsters so I have a better idea on what I'm modeling. this time around. Started with the 2 Mancubus variants - the Incubus and Ogre.

(Blood Variant)

(Venom Variant)

They don't follow the Mancubus attack style, so they're not just reskins like the Corpulent was. Incubus works more like the Archvile, will continuously send tendrils through the ground to impale the player, with a small delay to allow you to move out of the way. The Ogre attacks continuously like the Archnotron, one arm at a time - slower but more damage.
