Wolfenstein Rising

The name Wolfendoom Chronicles will be discontinued.
New working title: Wolfenstein Rising.

Help needed:
* Texture artist
* Sprite artist
* Mappers

So far, I already have some elements in place:
Most weapons, some enemies and bosses, graphics, HUD.
Many tracks have already been composed by DAR.

The mod will be a distant sequel to Wolfenstein 3d, though with some RTCW elements, and is to take place in 1955.

You should post screenshots - you clearly have a project, if this is your other one under a new name.

(I'm a bit confused why you didn't just rename the other thread, though...)

Apologies, pardon my ignorance. For now I thought it'd be easier to create a new thread, as I don't know how to change the category from Levels to TCs.

I have done some Doom-style textures before (mainly walls and doors). You can always use them if you like.

Looks promising. This is basically like RoTT, if it still had Wolfenstein theme to it!

Thank you. I'm hoping to also take some Wolf3d textures and try making them tile vertically too (specifically SoD's Stone Walls as well as a few concrete and brick ones).
I've tried with the Red Brick texture, but it doesn't look natural. Are you able to help out with these tweaks?

Funny enough, I actually did take some inspiration from the cancelled RoTT's story. As well as taking inspiration from RtCW; Astrostein; Arctic Wolf; The Mummy; The Terminator.

Early draft of the story had Hitler only being a smaller part in a much bigger picture.

Kinda like I'm taking pieces of story from other mods and pop culture and making a "Franken-story" of sorts. :twisted:

Absolutely great and awesome. I love them all!... However what's up with the enemy emitting a harmless laser before firing, though? Is this some kind of feedback that describes he's about to attack?

Yes, it serves as a warning, as the Shock Enforcer is extremely dangerous once he begins to fire and you aren't near any cover. His accuracy is deadly and doesn't stop firing until you're out of his line of sight.
