Hey, just wanted to report a "bug" of sorts in E2A12.
I couldn't make this jump and died because Square's head gets stuck on the stalactites.

hey real talk, so much of this is your own original creation. i'd say get a sound guy to make new original sfx for ya, do an episode 3, package it all together, and release it as a purchasable product. i'd gladly pay for it.

MTrop is already our main sound/voice-acting guy (he's most of the enemies) and he's been doing great - I think he's avoiding using stock sounds "verbatim" as it were, so there's a little bit of clever mixing and variety going on there.
The aspect of selling the game is a bit of a complex point, I couldn't give you what the exact plans are at this stage but I think it's a "cross that bridge when we come to it" thing.

Well, should clarify that we aren't responsible for any user addons breaking as a result of later updates. We're constantly making tweaks to this, and just about everything will be different come 3.0.Captain J wrote:If anyone can make addon for the mod or something, be our guest!

I beat episode 2 last night and I gotta say that I'm impressed with the mod! It's a bit on the tougher side for me with the difficulty (or maybe I'm getting rusty) but I had a fun time! The story was getting exciting when the cliffhanger ending happened which was a bummer. I can't wait for the next episode!

That black outline effect looks ace, how does it even work with voxels?

I don't know!
It only works in software mode, and it's kind of glitchy. I have an all-black voxel model, and then I spawn another actor with the color model on top of it. I'm a terrible programmer and don't know how the software renderer really handles voxels, but two models in the same space puts one entirely on top of the other one on-screen, in this case giving the illusion of an outline. Unfortunately, the black model just completely covers the color one in hardware mode.
