This new version of MKII, contain a lot of bugs fixed, enhanced the code. This mod is for play online (1-4 players), contain 2 modes: mortal kombat (1vs1: p1 vs p2, p1 vs cpu, cpu vs p2), 2 on 2 kombat (2vs2: p1 vs p2, p1,p3 vs p2,p4, p1,p3 vs cpu, cpu vs p2,p4) . Also contain some DooM cameos (for example; Shang Tsung can transform to a cyberdemon or spidermastermind and execute a fatality, or the toasty! replaced by a cacodemon).

The principal port for this mod is zandronum, specialy online (coop), but is also compatible with zdoom 2.8.1 (script 533 is the only one with problems, but the rest is fine, that script not affect the gameplay), but for more advanced zdoom exist a problem with the height of the cameratexture, for some reason is different (tested with zdoom-2.9pre-381-gfe4bc31)

about this version:

The throws are not included yet (including the air throws too)

The electrocution move of Raiden is now included (since fix4 version)

Some sequences of buttons for some fatalities, friendships and babalities change (but included on wall textures the information about how to execute these).

Not included yet the singleplayer arcade ladder. (with Kintato and Shao kahn).


How to play:


For customize the controls for this mod: go to options, controls, customize controls and the bottom of the list, the mortal kombat buttons are there.


know bugs:


Sometimes (10% of the cases), the map is restarted, still not know the cause.

Sometimes the double KO on mode 2vs2 change the round ssytem script.


Remember:


The principal purpose of this mod, is to play online (coop recommended for zandronum or zdl for zdoom), but on deathmatch: the winner telefrag the loser and that count a frag (LOL).

Seems that you're loading an old zdoom.pk3.

ok, i tested on zdoom32, the mod works good, but for some reason the fov of the camera texture change, this is very strange, but on zdoom 2.8.1 the camera fov is the same of zandronum.

make a FPS mod with MORTAL KOMBAT where you traverse the universe of MK killing kartakans and other deamons ... with each fighter havinb their own moves and specials....
make a huge mod with episodes and bosses..... killing minions etc
take inspiration from shaulin monks the mk game

I've tried it and it's true, the same happens with all later GZDoom versions. There were adjustements in the source to how camera textures work but you can change the FOV right? With ZDoom LE (based on 2.8.1 and roughly equivalent to 2.8.3) the mod runs fine.
