Yea, the large groups of enemies being clustered together was my biggest issue with this one so I'd love to see that fixed.

Some new/updated sprites would be awesome to see too, but that's probably asking for a bit much. The original mod really hasn't aged all too well (those large barren levels *yuck*), sad but true. Still, I have a soft spot for it, though. One of the first, and most extensive, TC's I ever played.

I got stuck on the island level, is that the ending?
if so: what kind of fcking ending is that!

I give this mod a 10/10
was better than the Land Of the Dead game.
I especially like the zombie sprites and how when the humans died they came back from the dead.
And how all the levels were fresh and different. like the TV station than the Mall, from dawn of the dead
and than it went all Day of the dead and you went to a secrete military base than escaped to the tropical islands.

Yes it is. Don't forget that the original mod came out way back in '95, a time where modders were very limited with what they could accomplish and this is up there among the more ambitious mods for DOOM (for the time). Not like today where we are a little spoiled, to be honest. But, yea, I always found the ending a little disapointing too but it is faithful to the Day of the Dead film regardless. It ends with them stuck on an island, most likley out of fuel for the chopper.

Slightly off topic but when I saw the thumbnail for this project I was thinking "A Zombies Ate My Neighbors Doom TC? okay this I want to see."

To bad it is not but perhaps I am now inspiring someone on this forum.

Dude27th made or making a certain mod about the game. Although looks like it's stopped, though.

Good stuff. Got any plans to upload this?

Also, I've discovered that as of version 3.0 this mod now works in Zandronum. I am cracking this back open to add a few things, like the palette swaps uploaded earlier and some ones im working on too. Plus I found a wad on wad-archive that someone made that seems to make the zombies scatter a bit more, but it's based on an earlier version so I'm going to see if I can integrate that in there as well. Maybe if I have time I may see about adding extra content.

Is it possible to get the zombies as a standalone mod?
