Thanks a lot guys, here is an updated version of my map.

The only change is in the MAPINFO, where sky1 = "SKY1" was changed to sky1 = "SKY2". The curators can decide if it's easier to replace the whole thing or just edit the MAPINFO.

Just a reminder that I made a version of CC4-TEX that doesn't supplant the stock Doom 2 skies:

Got the shotgun tier weapons reviewed. Read it here. Disclaimer at the top, and one I didn't add, but will when I add some more reviews: If I say your weapon belongs in a joke wad, I am not calling it a bad weapon. If I think your weapon is a bad weapon, I will flat-out say as much.

Glad you enjoyed it. I've taken the lava sectors into consideration and decided to add some teleports and removed the instant death flag instant death. I still would recommend swimming in it though ;) . Also yes some of the buildings are hiding some secrets and goodies.

Here's the updated map.

So besides changing the instant death lava. I've also realigned some textures, fixed a mismatching texture. You know fun stuff

So uh...Could I actually make those other weapons I had in mind then or...? I already submitted the shotgun about two pages back, but I am not sure if you are still accepting new entries, seeing as this is now the update/edit phase.

Basically, I'll accept new entries beyond the time limit, but only if they are nicely polished, and not a fucking plasma rifle.
I hadn't actually noticed the shotgun, glad you pointed it out to me.

Neat gun, although the mechanics of that combo were completely alien to me until I looked at the code. Having a melee attack be more powerful if closer range than normal is a really weird and obscure mechanic, hahahaha.
also holy balls dat gun be stronk 18 6 damage pellets for a single shell

I tested your map and noticed some things:

- There's a proper sky and no HOMs.
- No texture misaligned.
- Took me a little surprise the final added section of the map.
- The lift before the exit should be a two-way lift instead of one-way, because I was messing around with NOCLIP in the map and a HOM appears in the texture that is facing you, meaning that there's no texture.

I might be wrong on this one, but I *think* that's a plasma rifle. Please correct me if I'm wrong, though.

i was tempted to put this in slot 6 just to 'take the piss' but ultimately decided against it

gun for Yholl

it's slot 3, credits inside pk3, comes with 2 simple ACS scripts
less ammo efficient than vanilla shotguns, but way higher DPS
only after i got this done did i calculate it's DPS
420 - 490 - 560
whoops
on the flipside, it burns through all your shells in an instant and has pretty poor accuracy
oh, and the semi-secret tertiary fire doubles that, all the way up to 1/3rd of the BFG's DPS

BTW: Yholl's guns all have fancy gunsmoke and casings
are those going to be implemented to the rest of the guns, where applicable?
can you make this monster spew out empty shells too?
