Is anyone else getting problems with the Imp's death frames?

Why are the rips for the sprites so awful? this is 2016 better ripping tools exist. otherwise it's an alright mod.

As far as i remember everything in this mod was forced into doom palette, kinda awful and completely pointless for a gz-based project.

The imp deaths are working fine now. It was just a matter of mod order.

Some of you people recommended Super Doom 64 with this, but I keep getting an error when running it with GZDoom 64.

Code: Select all

Script error, "sd64_unofficial_v20.pk3:actors/player.txt" line 34:
"limitedtoteam" is an unknown actor property

Afaik that's a Zandronum mod, so i suppose you're loading it with gzdoom or something.

Ugh... I thought it was the first time, but didn't want to accept the fact that it is.

After tons of sprite fixing here it is, GZDooM 64 with higher quality sprites. It'll eventually get it's own thread page but till then here's my version of GZdoom 64.

I had to remove tons of doom 2 leftovers out of this mod so you better thank me later on this. lol :P

Any idea how to make the lighting in the newer ZDoom64 v2.0.wad look right? its got no shadows or anything. The geometry on the starting area is also weird (the skylight is glitched or something). Any who, thanks everyone for what you've done so far.

Hello to everyone

Today I tried what seems to be the last version of ZDOOM 64 (V2) on my computer.
is there a chance to receive a clear answer from someone here about the issue that the third map in this
version is the third map from Doom 2 instead of the original doom 64 map?.
does somebody here know if indeed V2 is the most latest and updated version for this mode?.

In case there is another version for this mode i will be very thankful if someone here will post a good link to it?

many thanks for the helpers

I would instead use Doom 64 retribution . A more faithful Doom 64 mod, and is actively supported from.the author. IIRC is required GZdoom 2.4
