Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in a while. Fortunately, through the busy schedule I endured for the past few weeks, I managed to fix the PDA problem I had been having. Since this issue has been fixed, everything should be back on course with the project. I do want to point out that I, too, added two more secret levels for extended game play.

The next set of things I'll be working on:

- Use Axe Blood for the knife
- Give each player class their own unique melee attack sequence. (Some will punch, some will kick, etc.)
- Incorporate story based cut-scenes
- Incorporating voice acted SFX

Hopefully I can accomplish all this.

I'm working on Beta 1.5 and I hope to complete it in the next couple of weeks.

I know this is a late message but... HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY DOOM! :)

Hey guys, hope all of you had a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year. Just a quick update - Beta 1.5 is near completion. I have a few more things to do and then it'll be ready for testing. Please note that I will be in the process of moving in the next 2 or 3 weeks. If anyone has any questions or concerns about the project, I will try and get back to you at my earliest convenience.

Thank you all for your support and hopefully we will get this thing done by March or April! :)

Hey guys, I finally finished moving into my new place so now I can focus on completing TOTLM4. I'll be releasing Beta 1.5 by the end of this week to my beta testers. Hopefully we'll be able to get this wad done by the end of March or beginning of April. I'm looking forward to completing this project.

@TheStrawberryOctopus - Glad you liked TOTLM3; you'll definitely like what TOTLM4 has in store.

Will some of the classes have different melee speeds, weapon firing rates, accuracy and reload times?

Mainly the melee attacks will be different based on player class. For example, the player class "Charlie" will have the more powerful melee attack, however, it will be a bit slow since the character will be exerting themselves more when performing the attack. Another example, one with a faster melee attack, the player class "Diana." This class will have a faster melee attack while not doing as much damage as Charlie's. Overall, each player class, too, will have their own fighting style. I may incorporate a unique melee take-down system like in DOOM 4, however, I don't feel confident enough to do anything super fancy.

Hi Goufpilot118, nice to see you drop by from YouTube :) To answer your question, TOTLM4, I'm hoping, will be done and released by the middle of April. As mentioned in an earlier post, I was in the process of moving, which put a bit of a slow-down on the project but things are back on track now. The project is almost done - we're just smoothing out the edges now :)

Glad to hear the move went well, now I have two last questions about TOTLM4, will it be longer than TOTLM3 and will the friendly Lizards from TOTLM2 return?

Hi Goufpilot118,

1. TOTLM4 is about the same size as TOTLM3. The only major difference is that you will be able to choose your path through the game through "fork-in-the-road" levels or levels with 2 exits leading to two separate paths with a few maps. One play through will feel like 21 levels but there are 36 maps total within the wad.

2. Unfortunately, the friendly Lizard people will not be making a return. I'm not sure if I'll bring them back in another project but they didn't make the cut for TOTLM4, sadly.

Hey guys, TOTLM4 is almost done. We're smoothing out the edges right now and things are going well. I'm hoping we can get this puppy out between the middle of April and the end of April. We're almost there! :)
