Finally I've got the point for how to implement a CVARINFO in order to toggle weather effects through menus (thankx Ed!). Also, with updated version 0.4.3 you'll find some sweetie changes among BatCavern maps like this:

Finally, i've seen about 3 remakes over the years, none of them ever were completed. good job!
will the maps be edited? I mean the windows can be remade as transparent 'glass' texture and even broken when shot.
perhaps some breakable scenery too?

I'll see what to do for the purpose Peter... at the moment I must replace all actors with some modern one, in order to remove DEHACKED inheritances. And yes! Maps are going to be edited, but not with painstakingly modifications such UDMF or Hexen's map formats. These will be widely faithful to original, with some slightly modifications using Legacy/EDGE compatible 3d floors (because of Doom map formats). BTW, you must download it if you want to get the point of what I'm saying here.

Uhmmm... I think Urban Brawl stuff doesn't fit well with BDR, but some other weapons from it could be useful... I have ActionDoom2 wad, this will remember me take a look into it... Also I must take a look to Titlemap scripts...

This blog can be really inspiring... shame that I'm not a sprite artist... anybody interested on this? I'm able to do some slightly modifications, but none of them will be painstakingly or similar to comics...

I've just added some burnin' people sprites, I know that flamethrower sprites are poor/gross, expecially while not having frames for action-firing stuff, but they're original (and outdated) BD stuff... Maybe I could add some fashionable sprites like UTNT Flamethrower ones... BTW I'll see what I can do for the purpose, this was also on my to do list.

They have frames in the 'standard' Batman Patch I worked on. You're free to use whatever you want from it, if it'll help you. Just remember to give Evil Space Tomato proper credit for his work as well. :)

Included new footage (with my freshly bought Bandicam) at the start of this thread. It's a 9 min demo through maps 1-2-3, showing some effects like rain and burning actors stuff... Stay tuned and :rock:
