I've completed the main story line and so far loving this mod! I'm trying to unlock the "every golden souls door" and I can not find the secret level anywhere (the one that is in the blue room). I've checked all levels in the area and just cannot find the portal. I don't want someone to tell me where it is or what to do, because that ruins the fun, but if someone can hint me (telling me what level can help me find it) I would be really appreciated!

P.S Dark Side of The Moon is fucking amazing. Easily my favourite level I've played so far

I downloaded the .pk3 file but i cant make it work, im trying to run it on zandronum or gzdoom but still it wont work.
Please gimme a hand here!

This mod requires the latest SVN build of G/ZDoom. http://svn.drdteam.org/gzdoom/

The OP specifically says that, right underneath the video. :P

Some feedback on the first boss level I just played.

Once you get inside the castle the map is surprisingly dark, especially considering the colored lighting that was added. The walk on walls bit was neat. I was expecting brightmaps from the lava texture at the very least.

I can stand here all day and that rose pedal guy can't get me. There were a few other areas in the level where they could attempt to attack me but fail miserably. Perhaps make their attack arc much greater?
As stated before, their health should be a wee less.

I'm guessing this mod has compatibility issues with the latest G/ZDoom's Software renderer, as whenever I exit the Garden level to return to the mansion, it simply just crashes.

Or is this just a G/ZDoom problem?

You should be playing in Opengl mode, hence the OP.

I am aware of this, however the latest version of G/ZDoom refuses to load/open/do anything while in OpenGL mode.

Then use a 1.9 git version if your video card is bugging out.

Hello,

Finally i managed to play this game, its awesome, but i got stuck in a map, "lucy in the sky with coins", i dont know what i did wrong, but i cant seen to find the last red coin.

I too had problems with the red coin hunt on that map (again, thank you Blackfish for directing me to an SVN build that let's me play this game). Maybe I can help?

Heh, this is really challenging on "Hard" skill - even the first maps. But I think this is OK.

BTW, the startup log gives this:

and it looks like the cause of these messages is in GoldenSouls_Full_1.0.pk3/REDEMPTION.wad:DEC_ENEM, lines 350 and 2328:

According to the wiki, "Red" is not a valid translation string, so GZDoom complains. Of course I'm using the latest version from devbuilds.

batandy - starting this up for my review. maybe im missing something but imo theres a big oversight with the secret exit to the basement housing map03 "dejavu". my first inclination was to brave the obstacle course and after navigating what is a pretty brutal splash damage gauntlet i met the soul guardian without the assault rifle, which kind of makes sense since vanilla hills is map02 but didnt help me any in hindsight.
