Hey ! just to tell that im not dead yet, im just not working on anything for the moment.
Im too much busy with other things, but the project is not abandoned.

Hey hi!, some news about Mortila.

First of all, i've noticed several bug during a test i did some weeks ago on the latest beta.
So for those of you that did play the latest beta to the end or at least reach the mortila ruins you should have noticed those bug/problem.
Town portals did not works well.. dont know why since in the pass it does... that is one of the biggest problem here.

Anyway, im like.. back at work a little bit.
Im trying to figure out things and im trying to complete every thing missing yet.
Especially the maps, and the storyline.
Im planning to build things faster and i will fix things aftermath.

That is all for now, so for the people who still interested in this project, things are moving to the good!.
I will give more news has the things will progress.

Hey!

I've been testing and fixing, and editing, since last time.
So i've made a bunch of progress, and now the game is beatable. It still miss a lot but you can finish it.
There is no ending though for now.. it just stop somewhere and thats all.
The game is freaking long, and the world is huge.. at the moment the game contain 65maps.
And it is not finished yet.

The "Subtract" render style requires a ZDoom version of at least 2.8.0 or newer. You are apparently running 2.7.1.

Also, Mortila requires OpenGL. ZDoom won't do.

Yes, updating to ZDoom 2.8.1 resolved the startup issue.

Dont forget that the game need OpenGL to run, since it use a lots of 3Dfloors.
You should try it with GZDoom.

Hey!, the beta is suposedly READY, waiting my friend to do a whole test of it before releasing!.
As soon has he did, and as soon has i've fixed the most important "hits he will surely found.
I will release the Beta 2.31.

Also thanks to Zaphael that did a Playthrough of Mortila Beta 2.06 on youtube !!
You helped me finding problems i've missed, and because of you i've changed the bridge in map10 ( south mortila ) you said it was weird.
Also i have added a text that say to wait when you are in jail and you'll be release, because seems like no one know that the jail is only for about 2mins ..
