Yes, I think this is possibly my currently most anticipated project. I really like the art style and the sort of "retro but more detailed than they could do back when original/retro stuff was new" feel to it. The setting is the kind of stuff that I tend to like in a game too.

Major project with well done graphics in a style otherwise hard to come by with demos and pictures to prove that it is really happening? Don't underestimate our respectful silence.
We just don't want to ask "are we there yet" every time you fall silent; after all, we don't like hearing that too much ourselves.

This and Russian Overkill are on my most expected lists.

I take it the dark lower part is supposed to be a reflection in water? Why not make it dark instead of dithering black? That, and maybe make it blurrier. Otherwise looks good.

Re: Killian Reed : Update. Page 19.
The whole thing is animated, and the dithering is more so making an effect. You can't tell whats happening from this screenshot, there is actually water you can't see. I did consider making that bottom part transparent, but that would mean arranging everything in a way that wouldn't look right. The animation makes the water look like its displacing the reflection.
Here is a test of using gigantic textures for buildings instead of building them piece by piece...
(EDIT: updated test building model from the last shot..)
I plan on having a "Blade Runner" type city, with a synthetic atmosphere like Highlander 2.

You mean broken.TheAdmantArchvile wrote:Fixed.

Blade runner has wide city scapes but the atmosphere was not artificial, just completely screwed up (and very rainy).
Highlander 2 did indeed have a sort of synthetic atmosphere, or at least an artificial ozone layer.

I think I mentioned before I don't sleep, so I may type some strange stuff. Don't bother correcting my grammar because I am prolly speaking in the same way I am typing. And yeah, good job at screwing it up anyway, lol.

More testing crap.

Depending on when more resources get done for this, I might take a crack at a map or more. Right now I'm focused on a couple other projects but if this gets to an open stage later this year I'll most likely be open.
I guess you'll want to see some of the maps I've made before...I'll PM you screenshots if you are interested, just drop me one first whenever you REALLY need mappers, if you are still looking for them, that is.

Sounds cool. Still adding stuff and cleaning stuff up. The longest thing is finalizing the decorate and getting somebody to take care of the ACS, which I think is going to be the hardest thing.
Here is where that holographic "David" statue ended up.
