Greetings.
This is my first post, I didn´t know there was a big community of developers of Doom, Heretic and Hexen :)
I´m working in a project called HeXen - Arcanum. I´m collaborating with Korax Heritage Mod too.

I have seen very good works here and I would show you my sprites. I hope you enjoy :mrgreen:
There are new weapons and monsters for HeXen (Some sprites are modifications of HeXen and other are based on the heretic)

Some of these edits are pretty good/funny but they seem to all have a problem: They're jpg and it ruins the quality. If you're just showing them off and plan to use them in your own mod then fair enough, but in their current state they're useless to modders.

I like the spider archvile :P

PNG's are probably best. Also since there's a lot of images here you might want to put them between spoiler tags.

:thumb: oh and welcome to the ZDoom forums. People still tend to use Hexen sprites with their doom stuff so if you're planning on making them resources I'm sure they'll end up in some doom wads. Also yes, people like hexen here :)

Wow, that's a lot of sprite edits to suddenly appear out of nowhere. Some definitely fall a bit on the comical side (nothing wrong with that) but there is some nice and more serious looking stuff in there too.

Yes, some of them are funny (like little cyclops) :D
I convert all to PNG as soon as possible for you can use. I'm glad you like it.

I like them a lot, very cool stuff here, I didn't expect that :) My suggestion would be - if you haven't some good DECORATE code for them yet - to give them to GhastlyDragon as he is one of the best DECORATE coders around here and then contribute these to the Beastiary :)

My personal favorites are the Invisible Warrior, the Desert Aracnid, the Imp, the Leonorus and the Bloody Demon as these seem to have the standard of quality that we need.

I don´t understand too much about code and scripts. If you wish you can put code to these sprites. I´m happy to contribute to your Bestiary. I´ll send the monsters to GhastlyDragon in PNG format :)

I upload all the files to mediafire compressed in a RAR. I include all of them and a new monster (the harvester) and some textures extracted from Blood and Shadow Warrior and adapted to HeXen.

that desert arachnid saved alot of work for the Reincarnation of Evil monsters :D im sure they want to use it there! :P looks awesome btw. pretty much every edit is lovley i think. especially the Desert arachnid, Bloody Demon and Leonorus, and the ettinrider too :D! damn they are nice.

4/5 stars for theese! awesome :D dosnt really meet up with vaders, neoworms or eriances work. but they are very good, and alot of them :)

I start on the Decorate for a few of them, later today, but I'm pretty busy with some stuff. I think I'll start with the Bloody Demon, Sword Ettin, Ettin Rider and Skeletal Ettin. :)

@Icy: It'd still need a fair amount of editing, to turn it into the Vagary. I'm waiting to see Eriance's Defiler, before I make a set decision on it.
