Should I release endurance mode as a seperate mod or save it for final release?

I don't mind the .wad format. I was going to go .pk3 for the first version, but in the end chose not to. Maybe I'll try it this time around. Who knows.

Jesus. Could you at least give hints on what ending you're about to get somehow? I'm pretty sure everyone will want to see them all :P

Do they range in best to worst? Like Dead Rising had 6 endings, A - F, and each one was worse than the one before it.

the ending depends on two different things. One part is the bosses, other part is finding bodies. I'm trying not to give away too much, but it will make sense when you see it.

I plan to implement a meter at the end that puts what ending you got on a scale compared to the best and worst.

Works for me. I enjoyed exploring your island the first time, I'm betting it'll be even more fun this time around.

Lol, sorry.

The island is getting more than enough new material to warrant another playthrough. :D

EDIT: Just a question...

Why is this wad called Phocas Island? XD

It would be pretty awesome if this wad got a Cacoward. That's two for what is essentially the same project, in different years. :P

I asked my then girlfriend what I should have called the first island and that is what she said. I just went with it.

I always figured it was a play on "focus", though your explanation makes much more sense. I pulled "Zen Dynamics" out of a random hat so what's wrong with no explanations? ;P

TWELVE?! Holy shit. Every nonlinear WAD with multiple endings (including my own) has just been theoretically put to shame. :p

If you're adding that much, it'd probably be more akin to Phocas Island 3 than 2.5, methinks.

Well, the difference between ending conditions is rather small. Killing 2 bosses might get you one ending, while killing 4 will get you another. When you play you'll understand how it works, perhaps.

Think of it being like Chrono Trigger (if you played it), the ending you get for the most part depends on when you choose to fight the last boss.
