If you use the moving wall on HF1M9 that leads to the green key secret before it is done moving, you will be unable to access the green key secret on HF1M9.

Fixed. Didn't know there was a "tagwait()" equivalent specifically for polyobjects at the time i made the map. :P

Currently working on these monsters for HF-E2. Will finish all the models of the monsters within the next few months and start working on the 2nd episode next year. E2 will be heavily inspired by Zdzisław Beksiński's surreal hellish paintings. Trying to make to stand apart from the first episodes's more grounded environments.

Those models look so gross, yet so awesome! I guess the next episode's gonna be all fell and flesh-based?

Trying to make the maps and monsters resemble this guy's paintings in terms of color, mood, and general feel. Will be a challenge with the Doom palette, but that's the limitation I've chosen so will have to experiment with colors.

I hope we get a monster that looks like this then

Gangly limbs, webbed head, a red mark (which could very well be blood) instead of a face.

Excuse my ignorance! I thought it was gonna be like H. R. Giger, Lovecraft, or probably Kentaro Miura style. I guess the world is still larger enough to search some more when it comes to artistic inspiration!

Made a small fix to the 1.00a patch to fix the Green Skull secret bug in HF1M9 Talon1024 mentioned.

Finishing up the Wight sprites this week. Thought I get an early start on the easier monsters.

Image

Started working on the Cadodemon (HF-E2's version of the Caco).

Image

Still playing with the colors of the colors of other monsters. Not a lot to work with in the base-Doom palette, but don't wanna use PNGs. :p

Is the "cado" prefix supposed to mean something?
Spoiler:
Given how sickly he looks, I want to suggest alternative names like "bromodemon" (stench), "pathodemon" (pain), "necrodemon" (death), "nosodemon" (illness), "oncodemon" (tumor), "pyodemon" (pus)...

I mostly object because cado is basically the phonetic spelling of cadeau which, because of my native language, brings to me a very different image.
Spoiler:
I'm sorry. :P

I'd be cool with "Cadavrodemon" if the intent was to evoke cadaver.

When I was looking up latin words for rotting or decay, one was Cado/Cadere. It was the closest to Caco. :D
