Depends on how well pulled-off it would be.

"Hey, I had killed those monsters! But not that big one, I needed to restock to finish him and now he's not there anymore! And I had mapped out that maze entirely, why has it been removed from my automap? This sucks!"

IMO. Hubs are hubs are hubs. If survival hubs are important to you, you should bug the Skulltag devs about them, rather than the mod makers. :P

@Cutman: Episode 3 is hub-based because of they way the theme works. 5 Unique environments, each holding it's own weapon based on their environment, with a host of unique monsters. It has to be hub based because the weapon found in the map aren't good for the monsters in it.

@Ghastly: I'm still confused as to what this is supposed to solve. Is it meant to fix the desync and disconnect problems skulltag has with hubs? If Skulltag still has that problem by the time Ep3 is done (gonna be a while), then I'm afraid DE-EP3 won't be ST compatible.

@Gez: As mentioned on top, a linear style wont work for DE-EP3's maps. weapons, or monsters. Unless somehow I manage to fit the entire episode into 1 gigantic map, there's isn't much I can do.

Oh, the only problem Skulltag has with hubs, to my knowledge, is that they're completely incompatible with Survival mode and automatically switch the game to normal Cooperative, since the Devs weren't sure how the hell a reset would work. I was just saying if you want to keep compatibility with Survival, you could try the global variable method so emulate hubs to a degree.

Oh, if it's only survival, then i can accept it. Ep3 is way too long for Survival anyway. :)

So's HR2Final and av.wad, but that doesn't stop people from playing through it. :P

Though, meh, maybe after Ep3's release, I or someone else could make a survival compatible version that's lineral, like Gez suggested.

He's probably working so hard on this, that he can't post any screens right now.

I am definitely loving how the Heirophant is turning out. I can't wait to try out the beasty. Is this the Mid-boss of the Necropolis?
