ZDoom needs a subBlack skin because the glare becomes really annoying

If Randy won't even add a skin made to look just like his own site I doubt he will add any other skins even though this forum needs a little choice as it looks like every other forum I have even been to...

I spent a long time on that zd.org skin too...

I hate the subSilver skin.

Just about every phpBB board uses it, it looks terribly generic, and very unappealing.

A fairly nice skin, I must say. At very least let the users select if they want a seperate skin.

But dark skins on forums are good!

I wish we could have them... as an option, of course. I want one anyway.

but it is a little bit overdone. Nearly every forum I've seen is dark. Maybe randy wanted to get away from the stereotype

phpBB allows for multiple skins. I have no problem with subSilver being the default if we can change to different types as well. Personally I prefer light text on dark backgrounds. It's easier for me to read.

Well, I would like an option as well. I might end up not liking it, but it'd be nice to have it available.

Most that I've seen that aren't Doom-related are like this. Mine as an exception, it is like this but uses the InvisionFree default skin which tells me that if it is ever resurrected from the dead I should probably find a better one...

But even if that is the case, why would it matter? After all, if SubSilver is the default and SubBlack or whatever is just an alternative, then who is to say that everyone is going to use SubBlack? Nobody.

Really, if we had multiple skin selections then it would be obvious that different people would choose different ones. I myself prefer a navy theme with white lettering.

I personally like the default. I have the DRD one set to it as well. However, nothing wrong with options.
