heretic II support

how difficult would it be to add heretic II support?
zdoom already supports obj, md2, md3 and kvx files

and bsp support for the maps should be pretty easy to add and is extremely well documented

also... the quake 2 engine source is available

This has to be the craziest suggestion ever. It's a completely different engine, GZDoom still uses the Doom engine.
But hey everything is well documented and the source is available so while you're at it why don't you add Doom 3 support too? :P
