Change unrecoverable JIT errors to Very Fatal Errors

Postby phantombeta » Fri Nov 01, 2019 10:30 am

As usual with my threads in this category, exactly what it says in the thread title. I could probably do this myself, and this is not quite a feature suggestion, but I'd like to know others' opinions on this first.
Basically, the fact that it's currently not a Very Fatal Error means there's no crash report we can look at. There's a few extremely rare JIT errors that have been occurring for a while that would very likely benefit a lot from this.

I think it's better to output more info with the exception that's getting thrown. A crash log cannot tell you WHY it crashed, only WHERE it crashed. So you trade one piece of info for another which may be counterproductive.

Usefulness of such crash reports can be evaluated only on case by case basis.
Ability to reproduce the problem is much more important than even a full memory dump.
Actually, what are those JIT errors exactly? Is it something like this?
