Requesting to be able to directly use the exittext property in any MAPINFO/Map Definition besides only in between Cluster/Hub definitions. Although not a PC Hexen feature, the Nintendo 64 version of Hexen would display text at the beginning of every level every time. Maybe there could also be a feature to toggle whether the text is always displayed or only displayed one time.

You can already attach exit texts to every level. In fact you can attach texts to each level for every specific target level.

Could you shed some light on this? The wiki is confusing and cryptic and there are no good examples anywhere (including gzdoom.pk3).

These are 3 different ways that I could not get the code to work:

It should be 'exittext = mapname, "text to show"', where mapname is the target map to go to, or "normal" or "secret" for the standard exits where the target map is set through MAPINFO.

Excellent, this works! Just a couple more questions now: How can I specify a background texture and music?

Also, this should be in the wiki but I cannot create an account. :?
