it works if i drop doom.wad and inter.wad onto the grzdoom icon, but its not auto loading when i just pick Doom shareware or ult doom.

I guess new intermission lumps have to be made. Tell Graf, he made the intermission options.

no, what i am saying is that the intermissions work fine if i drop both wads onto the icon (doom.wad and inter.wad). i think all that is needed is for inter.wad to be auto loaded when it detects that any shareware/doom/ult doom wads are loaded

The intermission scripts belong in zdoom.wad. Unless that is done you have to take care that they are actually loaded. If we want to do a real release we should update zdoom.wad to avoid confusion.

well i can confirm it works for both shareware and ult doom, i used xwe to merge zdoom.wad and inter.wad. would this make any problems for custom intermission screen? ie would the ones in a wad overide the ones in zdoom.wad? maybe someone needs to test

Does it cause problems with MAPINFO, SNDINFO, etc. etc.?

Yes, they will. A lump is always loaded from the last WAD in the list. ZDoom.wad is the first. Besides, if you specify your own intermission nobody is forcing you to use one of the original names.

There's no interference unless you override the defaults in MAPINFO.

I know. It was supposed to be one of those "Is the Pope catholic?" type of questions.

Few pages ago I said I'm looking for new webhost, because my current one sucks heavy. And I don't like rapidshare, because of the waiting :P. I need real webspace for my various projects ;).
