+NOLIGHTS Actor Flag
Disables all GLDEF or Light(<name>) assigned lights whenever this flag is present on an actor.

Can you give an example of a situation where this would be useful?

Re: +NOLIGHTS Actor Flag
Players that are morphed can sometimes leave a glow behind if they are firing their weapon and they have a flash, such as the Light command. In D4D, this is a notable effect when picking up a demon rune for example.
In another scenario I plan on having a blackout effect with one growing black light enveloping other things like projectiles, that disables all lights which have GL lights defined to them manually. I don't want to 'replace' them because this may interfere with other mods who have their own replacements.
I've quite a few more I have in mind.

If you want a bug fixed, report it, not make suggestions for a workaround!Major Cooke wrote:Players that are morphed can sometimes leave a glow behind if they are firing their weapon and they have a flash, such as the Light command. I didn't think that was an ENGINE bug. I thought that was just more a bug on my end.
But like I said there's more use cases for this.

Re: +NOLIGHTS Actor Flag
Where is that glow coming from? Surely the morphed actor would not have a light attached to its firing frame?

No, not the morphed body, it's the hidden invisible original player body.
