Test for/warn about saving to folder w/no write permissions?
In this tweet, Darren Owen of the Winamp Community Update Project shows a feature where, when the program is set to save settings to its own program folder, it tests said folder for write permissions, and warns the user if they don't exist. Given that we've had users complain about missing saves due to locating (G)ZDoom inside Program FIles, I wonder if there's any merit to having GZDoom warn the user about that.

The engine already checks this for the config and redirects most file operations to the users/ directory. Of course if this gets overridden by some user setting, all bets are off.
