The Official Strife: Veteran Edition has quest map markers
The GZDoom version does not, but the GZDoom version is superior in every other way (disable headbob and weaponsway, instant load times, and number keys for dialogue navigation). Any chance of getting the quest marker feature added to Strife Veteran Edition when playing in GZDoom?

https://zdoom.org/wiki/Classes:MapMarker - All that's needed is for SVE's quest marker data to be translated to use these.

Not quite as simple as that, I'm afraid, it'd have to be looked into in greater detail to understand for example how SVE declares which marker is visible, etc. That comes down to someone with time and knowledge of how SVE works, or a willingness to read their source code.
