How made brighter brightmaps ?

How made brighter brightmaps ?

Hi All,
Need help people..
I try brightmaps for D64 sprites. Is possible something made brighter brightmaps ?
I do not know if I do everything ok. Brighmaps works but are not much bright...

This is relative ok



but this not



brightmap sprite "HEADA2A8" { map "brightmaps/monsters/HEADA2A8.png" }

It can only ever get as bright as the sprite itself. If you want to make it even brighter, you need to write a custom shader.

I did the exact same thing last week. BightMaps for Caco64. Belive me, It is brighting. The pallet Collor of Doom 64 is darkest.

Yes D64 has very dark sprites. I change eye color for brighter and now is with brightmaps everything ok.

Do not know how made custom shaders but after change sprite color for brighter everything is fine. Thank you for answer.
