I tried several versions but always hangs in an infinite loop upon saving the map. I open a megawad, for instance doom.wad and then i want to modify a map and save that single map as a new pwad so i choose "save as". Pretty basic stuff right? I've read somewhere what that "save into" thing was, i had no idea. So am i missing something?
This is the last devbuild, well it updated itself.
Edit: definitely it copies the entire iwad but without my modifications in that map and then hangs, windows says it's not responding. So it's only for single maps?

As far as I can tell, opening DOOM2.WAD in GZDBBF or UDB and then saving works without a hitch.
For example, in MAP01, I just moved some vertices like so:

and I could Save and Save As without a problem, and any copy still retained the IWAD header.
In Slade3 copying an IWAD file is disabled

as it should be.

I created another wad in Slade but i copied just one map.
I used the doom.wad iwad but now i guess what could be happening, i had not configured previously the doom/doom format entry and i selected the resource file on the fly. That made Builder hang, if so it's a minor bug.
