Lighting Textures

Post by Smoke_333 »

I have been working on a map in Doombuilder 2, and I have used the LITEBLU4 texture on one of the walls. However, on one wall the texture lights up and is brighter when I play the map and on the others it does not. How do I make this consistent? I am using GZDoom but Zandrunum seems to have this issue as well.

What you're probably seeing is Fake Contrast; this can be disabled with a [wiki]MAPINFO[/wiki] flag on a per-map basis.

I changed the fake contrast in the settings menu, but it still shows up as brighter. Do I need to go to the MAPINFO specifically? If this is just a way the engine works and not a fault of my level design I may just let it slide.
