3D Floors & Dynamic Lights

Post by Daryn »

I'm wondering if someone could help me out with something. We'v made a table out of a 3D floor, and have lit it with a Dynamic light. It seems to mostly work, but the light shines through the table and lights the bottom of it as well. Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks.

Make the light radius smaller, move the light upward, make the table thicker? Put a table cloth on so you can't see down there, hack the underside of the table to pieces or put some carefully tuned subtractive light down there so it doesn't light up somehow?

There's some stuff to try there, for sure. Hadn't thought of putting a subtractive light the cancel the other one out. I'll experiment and see what works best.
