3D Floor Switch

Does anyone have any idea how to pull this off, every time i did it in the past it works but the texture doesn't register and it shows nonactive whilst it works opening, etc.
I assume this question has been asked alot.

You mean a switch on the side of a 3D floor? If so, give the floor line in the model sector a flag of 16 or 32 (16 for upper texture, 32 for lower texture). Then give the line that you want to act as a switch the appropriate line action for your needs and set the upper or lower side def to have the switch texture that you want.

If you want an example, extract the file nj_3d_floorUDMF.wad from here and look at how the floating switch is set up.

Nice the way the switch bobs up/down.

In case you want/need another example.
I included several 3D sector switches constructed with different methods,
with use trigger and the one at the top left shootable to open the door.

Or do you mean a switch set into the floor of a 3D sector.
