I have a question, but I'm not sure to post in the right place:
I had downloaded two days ago some PK3 with 3D monsters, 3D weapons, custom sounds... and they mix well.
I can "throw" these PK3 on my GZDOOM.EXE with no problem, that work fine...
But It's a little annoying to select firts these PK3 before playing (the fact is I have something like 400 mods in my DOOM folder)
Is it a way to make a SINGLE file with all these PK3 ?
(I mananged to make this with WADs that I put in an old PK3 that I emptied first; but didn't work with PK3s in PK3... )

Re: Group PK3 into a single file
The simplest solution is to use a launcher such as ZDL.
Another solution is to merge PK3s, however this may require some manual editing of mod contents.
Since PK3 is just a zip archive, you can extract contents of each PK3 into a single directory, make a zip archive of that directory, and load it as a mod. You may even not name it pk3 and leave ".zip" as the extension. BUT some mod files (called lumps) will be present in each mod, and you'll need either to merge each such files' contents or give these files different extensions, for example, SNDINFO.weapons, SNDINFO.monsters, SNDINFO.ambient.

OK, I'll try extract everything in one file...
It's not a problem to change name from SNDINFO to SNDINFO.xxxxx ?
