How to make dynamic light go further but at a low intensity?

I've got a nice atmospheric room. I've lighten up a diablo texture on the wall but I want the thin light aura to spread further.
How to do it?

ps. How to post pictures on this forum? :/

Actually very simple: Use a larger radius and a lower intensity light color (e.g. 0.5 0.5 0.5 instead of 1.0 1.0 1.0)
