Removing the end of level screen

Postby Hidden Hands » Tue Oct 12, 2021 2:23 pm

I have a pretty big issue here. I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the end of level screen (that shows kills and items etc.) After my level ends (it ends by teleport) I instead want it to go straight to an "intermission" with custom text that loads up like at the end of DOOM2, followed by a monster roll-call of my 2 custom monsters. I'm really having trouble with this and I really need some help. I did try looking into other peoples projects, and on the WIKI but I'm not entirely sure what it is I'm looking for? Also, I need to add my own custom music to end screens, title screens etc. But I'm not sure how do this without using the original DOOM2 names. Please help.

Many thanks in advance.

Do you ever read the documentation?
In this case even looking up the original E1M8 definition in the internal MAPINFO would have told you how to do it!

Yeah, you need to read the documentation and the internal scripts. Alot of this stuff is elementary and explained in the wiki.
