Calculating Aim Pitch?

Is there a way to calculate the pitch needed for a projectile to hit a target with gravity? Like monsters in Duke3D hitting you correctly with grenades.

I've looked around for a while but found so many conflicting results. Even heard of pitchto() but not sure that will work for this.
