[TITLEPIC] Animated Titlepic Help

Post by HAL9000 »

Hello everyone, I need some help, can someone tell me how to create/script Animated Titlepic?
This is a new feature added to GZdoom in May 2018 (3.4.0+) (https://zdoom.org/Changelog/af76e9a9c/files), and unfortunately I cannot find documentation how to use it anywhere online.
I want to create 30 Frame/images Animated Titlepic for the mod I'm working on.
Can Someone post the Example ANIMDEF code for the Titlepic, (not to be confused with the titlemap).
Thanks.

I have also been unable to get this feature to work.

For what it’s worth, here’s the commit https://github.com/coelckers/gzdoom/com ... 0c1089feb9

I gave up for now on anim titlepic, and created Titlemap instead.

Not if you never report it. And you need to post a sample, obviously.

I am very sorry for necrobumping this thread, you may redirect me to the halls of the dead if solved.

Does this function also allows animated intermission screens, readme and other screens?

This is GZDoom 3.5.0+ feature, It only works with CREDIT & TITLEPIC

Supported:
TITLEPIC - Working
CREDIT - Working

Not supported:
(and will probably never be supported, devs explained why in another discussion)
INTERPIC - Not Supported
HELP - Not Supported
CONBACK - Not Supported

For Seamless Titlepic animation CREDIT & TITLEPIC is all you need.
