Regarding the title, not playing Doom at all anymore, actually. Been over a year since I gave up on it at this point, mainly due to burnout, but also multiple other issues. Hell, even the Build trinity, if you were wondering, I'm kinda sorta playing these days almost exclusively for Raze purposes, but I admit I'm not suffering from nearly the same level of burnout as I did with Doom.
In the last couple of months I've actually played quite a few games, such as:
- Shadow Man remaster,
- Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2.
- The Turok games,
- Some Zelda Breath of the Wild.
- The Batman Arkham games on and off.
- Super Mario RPG.
- Paper Mario.
- Nightmare Creatures.
- Silent Hill.
- Saints Row 2.
- The original GTA trilogy.
- NFS Carbon and Pro Street.
- XCOM Enemy Unknown.
- Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.
And a lot of HL1 and HL2 mods. Recently there's been an increased interested in a few but very alive HL2 beta inspired mods (rare because these mods are infamous for usually enjoying a slow but silent death) such as Dark Interval, Raising the Bar Redux, and now Coterminus, the latter which had its first major release just yesterday, featuring the Coast and Prison chapters based on the 2003 development era of HL2, and I've been treating myself with that. The beta is just one of my few but strong obsessions, the very word makes me drool.
