Doom Tabletop Kitbash - [Classic B.J. Blazkowicz update]

Post by HAL9000 »

Long story short...
I was really disappointed with the quality and design of "Generic Doom 2016 marine" miniatures that came with the new DOOM Tabletop Game.
(Don't mind the stealth Predator in the background :P)

Original Doom 2016 marine miniatures:

So, a good friend of mine kitbashed Doom marine from some Warhammer 40K leftovers. (Space Marine Scouts, Astra Militarum, Neophyte hybrids etc...)
He did a really good job kitbashing all that to create something like this:

It is not 100% faithful to original (he did not have Catachan Jungle Fighters hands for kitbash atm) but it is damn close, I think that he did awesome job with the miniature!
He promised to do Quake Ranger Next! :D

Thanks @Darthwolf
Well...its time to RIP & TEAR

I love it.

Ranger should be able to use the same torso pieces, I expect. He's quite a simple design overall.

Yes I think so, It will be easy to reuse most of the same parts.
He only needs arms from Catachan set, and different type of helmet and pants

These look amazing. A really good kitbash - and very Doom-like. Great paint job too.

Ranger should be "easy" to do with a similar process. The Doom kitbashed figures already have an air of Ranger about them.

Agreed, btw we are planning to do Ranger, Q2 Grunt and maybe B.J. Blazkowicz.... I need 4 Miniatures for the tabletop :)

Still not sure about B.J though, maybe Sarge from Q3?
