Hello. I'm trying to make my first post. I typed everything, then attached my ss. I got an error that it was too big, so I resized it. Now I can't submit the post because of this error: "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." What is this?

I noticed this post has over 100 views so far. It's still worth reading the thread JadedLexi linked, but the point of my specific issue is this: Unless you are sharing a tiny picture, it is better to just include a link for your image hosted elsewhere. In fact it is probably just better to do that always. And make sure it doesn't require clicking thru ads to get to it.

I increased the board's attachment quota, however I did so conservatively in order to prevent a sudden explosion in disk usage on the host server.

We aren't YouTube, imgur, Mega, Sendspace, or any other cloud storage provider that has the resources to store thousands of terrabytes per day for data.
