Kingdom of Famine -- Book 2 of the Winter Agent Juno series, on which Project Einherjar and Midgard Outlaw are based -- got a 5-star rating at Reader's Favorite! I've added the badge to the book cover and posted it pretty much everywhere. You can grab it at mikestoybox.net if you like shootouts, dogs, and girls with guns.

The 5-Star edition won't be available in print on Amazon for 6-8 weeks but it should be available on Lulu.com now. Only the cover has changed, so if that doesn't matter to you, then don't worry about getting it on Amazon right away.

Hook:
Enter Midgard, a nuclear winter dystopia ruled by a fascist matriarchy, where men are stored and treated like cattle, and several madwomen fight for supreme dominance. When ex-commando Juno Radcliffe gets word of her estranged mother’s suicide, she returns to her dystopian home town to bury the hatchet along with her. The moment she gets off the train, the past assaults her with embittered sisters, childhood crushes, obnoxious dogs, and a smitten war comrade with ultraviolent tendencies.

Trouble is, the more Juno wonders about her mother’s death, the more everyone urges her to get out of town. And the more they urge her to leave, the stronger her own urge gets — the urge to gut the city’s corrupt underbelly.

Review Excerpt:
"The writing is beautiful and it combines exciting dialogues with vivid descriptions to create a world that readers will love to navigate...Kingdom of Famine is engaging, well-plotted, and curiously suspenseful."

Congratulations on the 5-star rating! Well deserved, given how creative that I know that you are. :)
