How hard would it be to compose a midi to sound like this?

How hard would it be to compose a midi to sound like this?

Particularly the vocal clips used at 2:47. Also, all "mp3 to midi" converters are rubbish?

Synth bass and electric piano would be the instruments of choice here, along with probably the electronic drumkit (24). You'd struggle making it sound like a piece of electronic dance music though, and while you could simulate the spliced-up voice clips by dipping the volume up and down at specific intervals, you would still be dealing with rudimentary MIDI instruments.

The only "converters" that were ever passable could only handle piano solos.

Your best bet would be a composer with perfect auditory memory, but who has one of those just lying around? :P

Well, there is a very talented musician among us, who can be hired for MIDI jobs, but alas, he is very preoccupied right now. Since MP3 to MIDI converters are gigantic steamin' piles of turd, I had no choice but offer him some cash - and he's doing great work! Here is the topic in case you missed it:
