Destructive upgrade

If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

Yeah, don't install rootkits and malware. Unfortunately that by now includes AAA games. One reason I steer clear of them.

I did manage to get GTA 5 to work completely, Graf.

Also, AAA Games including malware? I never heard things like that.

Yeah, but only those which contain loot boxes.

Also, not just UWP, but literally each and every portion of UWP flatland is broken, except UAC prompt and Taskbar Right-click menu.

Do you look up NOTHING on your own?

If you're trying to sound smart, you utterly failed here. Try "DRM". And Google that shit, because I don't want to waste my time explaining that to you, it's been documented quite extensively.

Some search terms that should help you get started -
"DRM Malware"
"Sonic Gather Battle"
"Sony Rootkit"

Trust me, by reading up on some of this stuff, you'll actually know what you're talking about, and you won't look so foolish talking about it.

I'm still trying to figure out how he messed up a Windows Runtime (UWP).

The hard reboot broke it completely.

Well. If your copy of Windows is still broke, it does have a "Reset" option that'll install a new copy of Windows for you. It's essentially reformatting for the lazy.

I would rather upgrade Windows to fix these problems, as using the "Reset" option will knock my PC offline for hours and give me headaches of setting up everything again. Upgrading Windows fixes corrupted critical DLL files, so doing that will replace those corrupted DLLs with fresh ones, fixing broken functionality.

It is still unbelievable at how Microsoft is still not focusing on improving protection against power outages and the like. Linux contains better stability, but in cases like power outages and hard reboots, it can get more worse, in some cases rendering the entire system unusable.

I don't know as much as most people here, but I haven't had any problems at all.
