I'm hoping their next giveaway is a Uplay client that doesn't crash.

Sadly, no.
It'll be Assassin's Creed 4 next week.

A special "Hitman Holiday Pack" will be available for free on Steam, Xbox One and PS4 from December 15 through to January 4. This pack contains the full Paris mission, as well as the Christmas-themed variant, alongside the two tutorial missions from the normal free demo.
Hitman is a
really good game, and Paris is a
really fun mission.

Oxenfree is (oxen)free on GOG.com right now. It's a fun little supernatural horror game with pretty decent writing and voice acting. I enjoyed the story and the puzzles were fun, if fairly straightforward. Similar in tone to Gravity Falls and other Americana folklore stuff.
Edit: Ninja'd

Six original DRM-free games made for Humble Bundle's subscription service are free to download until February 2
Hitchhiker
2000:1: A Space Felony
Cat Girl Without Salad
Uurnog
THOR.N
Crescent Bay
I have no idea if any of these are good or worth playing.

Uurnog is a neat game with a decent amount of content and a smart premise. Made by the same person as Knytt. THOR.N and Crescent Bay are both fairly disappointing and short. I haven't played the rest.
