I've read the rules and I hope this doesn't break it but Dead frontier 2 is on steam, it's ethical free-to-play, relatively new, old-school resident evil like zombie survival in third person if anyone's interested. It's not currently doing very good since its own toxic community doesn't like it but it's in early access and developer(1) needs some support.
Again, if this doesn't belong here feel free to remove this post.

This one is fine, SHayden - like you said, it's relatively new, and it is free to play.

I know this isn't strictly free but it's helluva cheap (at least it is in £ ). Doesn't seem worth starting a new thread for.

Requiem Avenging Angel ( currently £1.49 on GOG)

https://www.gog.com/game/requiem_avenging_angel

It's a Quake 2/3 ish era/generation game where you (the protagonist) are an Angel, descending to a dystopian Earth to thwart the forces of evil trying to take over. A flawed classic, to be sure, but it does have some really good moments and some interesting concepts/visuals.

Also, people in this community will recognise some of the sound effects that I may, or may not, have ripped for some of my mods in the past. ;)

I think Tacoma and Oxenfree are also free at GOG right now, IIRC.
