Kinsie or Cali can ping me when there's something relevant to post in this thread, and I'll unlock it then. Until then, I think it's time to acknowledge that the thread is really losing sight of its original purpose, which is a shame, because it was a very useful thread before all the fuckery. :(

The saying "this is why we can't have nice things" goes, and this should hopefully be a strong lesson of why you should not obsess over such minor things, at the expense of more important things.

Rachael snuck it in about a month ago, I think? I think it was more or less specifically for this thread.

It was also for indie devs, and I already privately contacted a few of them to let them know about it. You might notice some commercial threads are using it.

How much like Uplink is this game like? Because I am quite interested, and not *just* because of the Free pricetag.

I hear it's geared a bit more realistically, involving a lot more command line tools.

Sweet. The patience game seems to be paying off. (Props to Io for doing this, too.)

Guns of Icarus Alliance is free for a couple of days at Humble, if, you know, you missed the last time this was free back in May.

Star Ruler 2 and its expansion pack are now free and open-source... with a catch: If you want it for free, you'll have to compile it for yourself! Also: No music.

Not a freebie, but still pertinent to the thread: Origin has retired their "On the House" freebie program, so don't expect anything else on that front.

Pity, there was some good stuff offered through that.
